<p>After we decided to put our English Hill family home up for sale, everyone said “you’ve got to talk to Tony Meier – no one knows the market like Tony.” Sure enough: Tony was the consummate professional from start to finish.  He was extremely responsive to all our communications and provided us with a thorough valuation report to help us set expectations for the sale.  Throughout the process he guided us in understanding the best value-added pre-sale improvements that needed to be done and he helped us find qualified contractors for the work. We initially reached out to him in 2013 as he had a strong presence in the neighborhood we were living in. He helped us get our first house sold with over ten offers and significantly over asking price. This allowed us to comfortably purchase our second home, which we enjoyed with our three kids for over 11 years. We reached out to him again this year looking for a home with a bit more space for teens to spread out and he helped us find our current home.</p>
<p>Things we love about Tony &#8211; he&#8217;s such a nice guy and we just really enjoy working with him. He really cares about his clients, which is evident in small efforts he puts in that have no direct benefit to him. He&#8217;s very knowledgeable about the real estate market and will always give us his honest opinion, even if it&#8217;s not going to be to his advantage (I recall him asking us &#8220;do you really want to sell this house and buy a new one? Tony provided me with a wealth of information regarding comps and different options for pricing and improvements.  He handled everything from start to finish:  setting me up with a contractor to do the improvements he suggested, arranging and hiring the stagers, and the cleaning service.   He also patiently guided me through completion of all paperwork and the entire process including working with the title company and the condo homeowners association to ensure we were in compliance with all regulations.  We  received a strong offer over asking  in less than 12 hours on the market.  When it comes time to sell my own home I will definitely be working with Tony again. I cannot imagine anyone one else could give me such personalized service in a professional, caring manner.</p>

Even between transactions, Tony has always been available to help us with our homeownership questions and ready to recommend resources if he couldn’t just answer a question himself. Multiple times Tony would meet with us in person, just coming out to our house to talk over something we were wrestling with. Even when we sold one of our houses to a builder without an agent, Tony was still willing to help guide us in moments where we needed more information or just a second opinion.</em></p>
<p><em>At every step of the process, for every house we’ve owned, Tony has been willing to go the extra mile to help us. I was going to write “provide great service” in that previous sentence, but it honestly sounded too much like marketing lingo to describe Tony’s involvement. He’s always been </em><strong>helpful</strong><em>. From answering simple question about home maintenance, to linking us up with contractors for a major renovation, to teaching us about market forces, to guiding us through all of our transactions – and even helping connect us with a new agent in another state when we moved out of Washington – Tony and his team have been there, sometimes at a moment’s notice, and always happy to help.</em></p>

We recognized that the housing market was unusual and wanted a realtor who knew the market, and specifically, English Hill. We met with Tony and his wife, and during that meeting, Tony gave us all of the information we needed to decide to list our house as soon as possible instead of waiting until May. He presented us with a packet full of statistics and market projections, and answered all of our questions. He and Wendi walked through our home and gave us pointers on what to do to make the house ready. They had a list of contractors for us to use. No matter what issue we encountered, Tony had a timely solution. We literally met with him on February 10th and put our house on the market on March 10th. Tony knew how to price our home to sell well and quickly. His way of helping us sell our home is time-tested and it works! His expertise benefitted us immensely, and enabled us to buy another beautiful home on the other side of the mountains. We couldn&#8217;t be more thrilled to have used Tony and his team!</p>
