Tony came highly recommended by a neighbor and co-worker, and with good reason. His overall performance as a listing agent was excellent and he was very easy to work with. Both referrals had used Tony for multiple transactions.
– It’s often expected an agent will provide a list of things to do to make a place more marketable. Tony did this thoughtfully, offering suggestions on things that would help as well as things that weren’t necessary. It was all based on priorities to help us choose what we were willing and able to do. I felt he was working with us like we were a neighbor rather than just trying to make his job easier for a quick sale.
– Communication was excellent. Tony always kept us in the loop on all stages of the process, was readily available, and was always prompt with a reply to an email or returning a phone call. I also appreciated his candidness, and when he said he would do something, he did it promptly.
– The web presentation of the house was very well done, and with broad advertising brought in a number of good offers and bidding competition. Tony understood the market dynamics and applied a strategy that resulted in a quick sell and at a price well above what we expected. It was a strong seller’s market at the time but he knew how to take advantage of it. And when it came to negotiating with the buyer’s agents, I felt Tony did an excellent job of representing our interests. He also was extremely helpful in vetting the buyers to help select the offer that had a high probability of closing without problems or delays. The whole process went very smoothly.
– One last thing I appreciated with Tony was his overall professionalism. He would explain things well, offer recommendations and discuss trade-offs, but would let us make the decisions.
I would not hesitate to hire Tony again as a buyer or a seller.
