This Weekend on the Eastside: Salmon Days, Kirkland Harvest Festival, and More | October 2nd to 4th, 2026

Tony Meier & Team. 37 years. 803 closed sales. $254M+ in closed volume since 2020.

The big one this weekend is Issaquah Salmon Days. The 57th annual festival fills downtown Issaquah on Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, with the Grande Parade stepping off at 10 a.m. Saturday. It is free. Kirkland's Harvest Festival runs Saturday at Juanita Beach Park, Bellevue has two free markets (a Friday sunset market downtown and a Saturday night market in the Spring District), and the Redmond Saturday Market is still open. Across the lake, the Seahawks host the Chargers Sunday afternoon and the Kraken open their season Sunday evening. In Snohomish County, the pumpkin farms are all open and the Silvertips have two home games. Here is the full rundown, Eastside first, then Seattle, then Snohomish County. Every date, time, and price below was checked against the organizer's own page on September 29th, 2026. Details can change, so confirm before you go.

Salmon Days is the anchor

Salmon Days is the Eastside's largest festival and it lands on the same weekend the salmon return to Issaquah Creek, which is the whole point. This year's theme is "Stars, Stripes & Salmon." Expect more than 200 artisan booths, a Foods of the World court with 75 or more vendors, live music, DockDogs at Veterans Memorial Park, salmon viewing at the hatchery, and a 21 and over beer garden. The Grande Parade starts at Confluence Park at 10 a.m. Saturday and runs up Front Street before turning onto Gilman Boulevard. Parking is the hard part. The simplest plan is the Issaquah Transit Center (free on weekends) and the festival shuttle marked "Special."

Kirkland's Harvest Festival, Saturday only

The sixth annual Harvest Festival at Juanita Beach Park runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, October 3rd, with the Rustic Bites food truck lineup, live music, artisan vendors, pie eating, corn shucking, and cornhole tournaments, plus a Kids' Korral with pony rides. Parking at the park is limited, so use the free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes from North Kirkland Community Center (12421 103rd Ave NE) between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., or the free bike valet. Bring a nonperishable food item for the donation drive.

Two free markets in Bellevue

Friday evening, GATHER Bellevue takes over 10620 NE 8th Street downtown from 4 to 10 p.m. with local makers, food, live performances, and a beer garden for those 21 and over. Saturday, the Autumn Moon Night Market runs 2 to 7 p.m. at Spring District Station with more than 50 artisans and a Mak Fai Lion Dance at 5 p.m. The 2 Line stops right there at the 120th/Spring District station, so you can skip parking entirely.

Woodinville

October is harvest month in Woodinville Wine Country and most tasting rooms run crush season specials rather than single ticketed events. If you want a Woodinville afternoon, check the Woodinville Wine Country calendar for that weekend's harvest parties before you go.

Bluey's Big Play The 5th Avenue Theatre Fri 6 p.m.; Sat 11 a.m., 3 and 6 p.m.; Sun 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Ticketed
Two notes for Sunday. The Seahawks kick off at 1:25 p.m. and the Kraken drop the puck at 5 p.m., so SoDo and Seattle Center will both be jammed from early afternoon through the evening. If you are coming from the Eastside for either one, the 2 Line to the 1 Line is the sane route. Also, the Sounders are away this weekend, the Huskies are at USC, and the Mariners' season ended September 27th, so there are no other home games competing for the same crowd.

Snohomish County: the farms are open

Event Where When Cost

Snohomish PUD Community Energy Run 5K 3301 Old Hartford Rd, Lake Stevens Sat Oct 3rd, 9 a.m. to noon $45
The four Snohomish farms sit within a few miles of each other along Marsh Road and the Snohomish River valley, so it is easy to pair one with lunch in downtown Snohomish. Weekend admission at Swans Trail must be bought in advance online, and Bob's Corn has not yet posted final 2026 pricing, so treat those figures as the current reference rates.

Here's What I Suggest

If you only do one thing, make it Salmon Days on Saturday morning. Park at the Issaquah Transit Center, ride the shuttle in, catch the parade at 10 a.m., and be through the vendor rows before the midday crowd builds. Sunday morning at the festival is quieter and the salmon viewing is just as good. If you are on the north end, stack Saturday: Redmond Saturday Market at 9 a.m., Kirkland's Harvest Festival from 11 a.m., then the Autumn Moon Night Market in Bellevue's Spring District for the 5 p.m. lion dance, all free, all reachable without a freeway. If you are hosting guests from out of town, the Northwest Chocolate Festival on Saturday and the Kraken home opener on Sunday are the two Seattle items worth planning around. Buy tickets before Friday. And if you are thinking about a move this fall, open houses on the Eastside run Saturday and Sunday afternoons, which fits neatly around a morning at any of these events. Call Tony Meier & Team at 425-466-1000 or visit EastsideHomes.com and we will put together a Saturday route that pairs the homes you want to see with the events near them.
