This Weekend on the Eastside, November 6th to 8th, 2026: Smashing Pumpkins Friday, Diwali at Bellevue Square Saturday, Seahawks vs. Arizona Sunday. Tony Meier & Team weekend guide.
The Festival of Lights is the Eastside anchor this weekend. Bellevue Square's Diwali Celebration fills Center Court on Saturday, November 7th, with live Indian dance, music, and visual arts from noon to 5 p.m., complimentary henna from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and rangoli and sari displays that stay up through Sunday, all free. Kirkland Performance Center keeps the theme going with Seattle Deepavali Kondattam at 3 p.m. Saturday ($30 to $50) after a Friday night of comedy with Emma Willmann. Saturday morning brings the Farm Fresh Market to historic downtown Issaquah, the free Sammamish and Issaquah tree giveaway at Pickering Barn, the Sons of Norway Holiday Bazaar in Bothell, and winter train excursions out of Snoqualmie and North Bend. Woodinville's L'Ecole No 41 runs its Mac N Cheese Weekend all three afternoons, and Redmond honors veterans Friday afternoon at the Senior and Community Center. In Seattle, it is a full sports weekend: the Huskies host Penn State Saturday at 12:30 p.m., the Kraken face the Rangers at 2 p.m., the Sounders play LAFC on Decision Day at 4 p.m., and the Seahawks host the Cardinals at Lumen Field on Sunday at 1:25 p.m. The Smashing Pumpkins play Climate Pledge Arena Friday night, Festál's Diwali celebration fills the Seattle Center Armory for free on Saturday, and Pacific Northwest Ballet opens Ghost Stories at McCaw Hall. In Snohomish County, the Silvertips are home Friday and Sunday, Late Shift Everett turns downtown into a First Friday crawl, the Edmonds Museum Holiday Market opens for the season Saturday morning, historic downtown Snohomish holds its Holiday Open House, and Snohomish Brewfest pours at Thomas Family Farm Saturday afternoon. Eastside first, then Seattle, then Snohomish County. Every date, time, and price below was checked against the organizer's own page on November 5th. Details can change, so confirm before you go.

Here's What I Suggest

Saturday, Eastside route: Start in Issaquah at the Farm Fresh Market around 9:30 a.m., when the produce tables are full and parking on Front Street is easy. Head north to Bellevue Square by 11 a.m. to get in the henna line before the noon performances begin in Center Court, and park in the garage on the Bellevue Way side. If you have tickets, leave by 2:15 p.m. for the 3 p.m. Deepavali Kondattam at Kirkland Performance Center, then finish the day on the Kirkland waterfront. If you would rather stay in Woodinville, L'Ecole No 41's Mac N Cheese Weekend runs 2 to 6 p.m. all three days with reservations through Tock. Seattle plan: Pick one game, not three. The Huskies host Penn State at 12:30 p.m., the Kraken drop the puck at 2 p.m., and the Sounders kick off at 4 p.m. on Decision Day, so Saturday traffic across the bridges will be heavy from late morning on. The quieter Seattle choice is Festál's free Diwali celebration in the Armory from noon to 6 p.m., with the Smashing Pumpkins Friday night or Ghost Stories at McCaw Hall as the evening option. Sunday belongs to the Seahawks at 1:25 p.m.; plan to be across the lake well before noon or watch from the Eastside. Snohomish County: Friday evening, make Late Shift Everett's First Friday crawl your plan and fold in the Silvertips at 7:05 p.m. Saturday morning, the Edmonds Museum Holiday Market opens its season at 9 a.m., and downtown Snohomish's Holiday Open House runs noon to 8 p.m. a short drive east. Sunday's Silvertips game at 4:05 p.m. has the lowest ticket price of the weekend at $18. Open houses: With the Seahawks at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, the strongest open house window on the Eastside this weekend is Saturday afternoon and Sunday before noon. If you are planning to tour homes between events, or you are thinking about listing this winter, call Tony Meier & Team at 425-466-1000 or visit EastsideHomes.com and we will build a route around your weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Bellevue Square Diwali celebration free?

Yes. The performances in Center Court, the complimentary henna, the rangoli and sari displays, the photo spots, and the lantern craft kits are all free, and the Bellevue Collection garages are free as well. The main celebration is Saturday, November 7th; displays stay up through Sunday, November 8th.

Are the Seahawks home this weekend?

Yes. Seattle hosts the Arizona Cardinals at Lumen Field on Sunday, November 8th, with kickoff at 1:25 p.m. It is the team's Salute to Service game. The Reign are away in New Jersey for an NWSL playoff quarterfinal Sunday morning.

Are any Eastside farmers markets still running?

The Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Sammamish, and Issaquah Pickering Barn markets have all ended their regular seasons. The one Eastside market this weekend is the Downtown Issaquah Farm Fresh Market, Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Historic Shell Station. The Bellevue Farmers Market returns for one Saturday Fall Market on November 21st.

When do the holiday events start?

Not yet, with two exceptions this weekend: the Edmonds Museum Holiday Market opens Saturday, November 7th, and downtown Snohomish holds its Holiday Open House Friday and Saturday. On the Eastside, the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink opens November 13th, Snowflake Lane begins November 27th, and Garden d'Lights at Bellevue Botanical Garden and Kirkland WinterFest both start November 28th.

Are the pumpkin farms still open?

No. Remlinger Farms, Swans Trail Farms, Craven Farm's fall festival, Bob's Corn, and Stocker Farms have all closed for the fall. Craven Farm opens Friday evening only for its ticketed line dancing night, and Stocker Farms reopens for Christmas trees the weekend of November 21st. Event details were verified against each organizer's website on November 5th, 2026. Dates, hours, and prices are set by the organizers and can change without notice; please confirm before you go.
